This week, I am sharing a review I wrote about the Peter Shear show at Blum Gallery. Going forward all reviews will be for members only, as one of the special perks. If you ever have gotten stuck in traffic on the west side of LA you will understand why. I will also be starting up my plein air painting this fall for Angelenos - although because it’s so hot, I may wait until October.

Review: Peter Shear at Blum Gallery

On Saturday this past weekend, I visited Peter Shear’s exhibition “Reality Show” which is one of those misleading exhiition titles that refer to more or less nothing about the way the work looks. But being here in LA, land of unscripted television, it felt fitting.  I missed the talk by Shear and artist Ross Simioni because I ahd been at the beach, but was able to catch them both, and ask a few questions before things closed down.
